Dear Evergreen Families,
As we close the 2025–2026 school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has truly been a memorable and remarkable year at Evergreen Elementary.
This year was filled with learning, growth, achievement, and countless moments that reminded us of the strength of our Evergreen community. Our students demonstrated perseverance, leadership, kindness, and a commitment to learning each and every day. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, on stage, or through service to others, our Eagles continued to soar.
One of the highlights of this year was being recognized as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School, a distinction that reflects the dedication of our students, staff, and families in creating a culture of leadership, responsibility, and continuous improvement. This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of our entire school community and serves as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together.
Throughout the year, we celebrated academic growth, student leadership, extracurricular achievements, and meaningful community partnerships. We also created lasting memories through assemblies, performances, field trips, family events, and everyday moments of learning and connection that make Evergreen such a special place.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our dedicated staff for their unwavering commitment to our students, to our families for their partnership and support, and most importantly, to our students for bringing enthusiasm, curiosity, and joy to our campus each day. As we head into summer, I encourage everyone to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming our returning students back in August and welcoming new Eagles to our Evergreen family.
Thank you for helping make this school year one to remember. It has been an honor to serve as your principal, and I am proud of all that we have accomplished together.
Wishing you a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer.
Go Eagles,
Dr. Cardenas, Principal
