Dear Evergreen Families,
Welcome back to a new school year at Evergreen Elementary! I hope you had a wonderful summer filled with time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments with family and friends. As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for all that this year will bring.
Last year was truly a remarkable year for our Evergreen community. We celebrated tremendous growth, student leadership, academic achievement, and countless moments that reminded us what makes Evergreen such a special place. Most notably, Evergreen was recognized as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. This distinction reflects the dedication and commitment of our students, staff, and families to building a culture where every student is empowered to lead, grow, and make a difference.
As we begin this new school year, we will continue to build on that momentum. Our focus remains on creating a school where every student feels known, valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Through our Leader in Me work, our S.O.A.R. expectations, strong instruction, and meaningful partnerships with families, we will continue to help our Eagles develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
There is so much to look forward to this year. New learning, new friendships, new opportunities to lead, and new memories we will create together. Whether it is in the classroom, on the playground, on the stage, or through service to others, I know our Eagles will continue to S.O.A.R. and show what it means to be an Evergreen leader.
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our returning families and a special welcome to those joining the Evergreen family for the first time. To our incredible staff, thank you for the passion, dedication, and care you bring to our students each day. And to our families, thank you for partnering with us and trusting us to be part of your child's educational journey.
Most importantly, to our students: Welcome back, Eagles! We are so excited to see you, hear your stories, watch you learn, and see you grow. This is your school, your community, and your opportunity to lead.
